In-line with (SDG-12) sustainable consumption and production
we’ve learned that the food with the best flavor, is the
food the land wants to grow, & no one listens to the soil
more than farmers. We source our ingredients from local
small-holder producers and suppliers, making them the rock
stars to our story, and creating a community where
consumption & regenerative farming are part and parcel of
the same conversation.
We feel a great sense of responsibility & pride to change
what it means to be in the business of feeding people. We
take our food ethos on waste production quite seriously and
have developed strategies to address this challenge by;
- Ensuring that our food packaging materials can
subsequently reduce food waste, and the associated
environmental impact.
-
Having a wasteED initiative, that seeks to raise food
literacy among our consumers. In-line with (SDG-9)
industry, innovation and infrastructure we have also
developed dedicated social media channels, & a podcast,
the Earth Circle Community that are also used for these
purposes.
We intend to nurture & integrate plant-based nutritious meals
into mainstream food culture, by taking our menu development
process quite seriously. In line with SDG 3, ensuring
healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages,
our menu items are posted with their nutritional value for
our clients to be informed as well on what they’re ordering.
In our lab is where the magic happens, where all ingredients
are first marked for all their nutritional value, then
combined together to create flavor bombs.
We are extremely waste conscious, and use minimal plastic
when it comes to our packaging. working with farmers who
practice organic farming practices that are kinder to the
soil, enthusiastically taking on more tree planting
campaigns, encouraging our community on nurturing a green
thumb, by teaching and spreading awareness on having urban
home gardens, collaborating with and shining a light on
other businesses that are practicing environmental
sustainability, and coming up with other amazing future
projects that honor our earth as we keep going.
Yet, we still believe that there’s so much more to be
done.
While meaningful change can’t happen overnight, each
individual decision and micro action plays an essential role
in making our vision more achievable. One person’s actions
in a community of like-minded individuals can be a catalyst
for so much more.
We hope that our product can make a small difference in the
way we think about food, while supporting the local farmers
and contributing to make our planet a more sustainable home
for all living creatures.
We’re pro plants, not anti-animal.
Our philosophy is that you should eat what you love, but eat
more plants.
